Yammer - a quick and easy social networking tool for business

The team at Gatehouse has recently started using the social networking tool Yammer to stay in touch and to collaborate on client projects.

It offers a secure, private discussion board for you and your colleagues to chat, share links and generally keep in touch. Like Twitter, it also enables you to stay connected when you're out of the office (as we often are) using your BlackBerry, iPhone or other mobile device.

And what we love about it is that it's free, extremely easy to use and very, very simple to set up.

If you haven't come across it before be sure to check it out - it really is a great little productivity tool.
